    It’s no secret that a lot of people eat – and overeat- when they’re depressed, bored, stressed, unhappy…and any number of other emotions. Plus they stop exercising, shutting down to the outside world.

    So regardless of the fitness and diet programs you choose to participate in, in order to combat unhealthy eating and lifestyle habits, you need to get a mental grip. And unfortunately this isn’t always an instant process, nor is it permanent for your state of mind.

    You see unhealthy mental habits develop since the day you are born. So as you stored up unhealthy messages like, “clean your plate” (even if you aren’t hungry). To break these habits, first you need to recognize these messages as unhealthy, then you need to replace them with healthier thoughts.

    Since it’s impossible for anyone to know all your thoughts except you, your mindset work will be continuous as you face the challenges of overcoming an unhealthy, sedentary life on the computer. To get help, you can reach out to mental health professional first, to make sure you aren’t suffering depression or another mental state. Then get mental attitude and state improvement books at the public library, and find helpful articles and other resources online about improving your mental attitude and state.
